TRUE PRO CUSTOM SKATES

Your satisfaction is our top concern. Therefore, we offer the following protection for our customers on our TRUE Pro Custom Skates:

Custom Skate Guarantee:

Due to the 100% custom nature of our Pro Custom skates, scanned for your individual foot and proudly handcrafted in Canada, TRUE hockey does not offer a money back guarantee.  If the customer is not satisfied with the first pair, we will attempt to adjust the skates using a series of fitting techniques.  Should the customer remain unsatisfied and both parties have determined that all means have been taken to adjust the custom fit, TRUE hockey will make a second pair at no charge for the customer.  The customer in this case will be responsible for shipping the skates back to TRUE hockey (Winnipeg, MB factory location specified below) and all related charges will be the responsibility of the customer.  TRUE hockey will cover all costs associated with building the new pair and shipping them back to the customer.

6 month manufacturer’s warranty:

If within the first 6 months of use your boots sustain any breakdown or damage not caused by regular game use, TRUE Hockey will fix the damage. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.

1 year manufacturer’s warranty on blades & holders:

If within the first 12 months of use your TRUE holder or STEP steel blade sustain breakage not caused by regular game use, TRUE Hockey will replace them at no charge. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.

Outside warranty repairs:

At TRUE Hockey we stand behind our product and therefore we will fix any issue that arises with your boots outside of the warranty period.  If the repair is considered minor (i.e. rivet replacement), please contact your local authorized TRUE Fit center.  For all other repairs, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping in both directions plus a fee for the repair to the TRUE Hockey – Winnipeg MB skate factory. Please contact the TRUE hockey service team by email at skateservice@truetemper.com prior to shipping for a repair quote.

Any skates/boots that are shipped to TRUE Hockey need to be clearly marked “WARRANTY REPAIR” on the shipping package or Customs Clearing charges may apply.  Any Customs Clearing charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

The warranty date becomes effective:

  1. For products sold to the end user through an authorized TRUE Hockey Custom Fit Center, the warranty date shall be from the date of invoice.

Return of the product

To replace a broken skate or inquire about repair of your custom skates, contact True Hockey DIRECTLY (not your True Hockey Custom Fit Center) by sending an email to (skateservice@truetemper.com) for a return authorization (RA) form and number.  You will be required to provide the original invoice from your retailer. The product will be returned directly to True Hockey – Winnipeg office.  Once an RA number is issued, all warranty products need to be received by True Hockey within 14 calendar days, according to industry standards. Otherwise the RA will expire and a warranty return will be re-evaluated by True Temper’s warranty return department and a new RA will be issued, if eligible.

After we have authorized the return, please send your product packages, including your RA number, via a prepaid, insured, traceable method to ensure a safe and documented delivery.
