TRUE Sports takes extreme pride in its reputation for excellent quality and value.

BY USING THE PRODUCT, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. BEFORE USING THE PRODUCT, PLEASE READ THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CAREFULLY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, DO NOT USE THE PRODUCT. RETURN THE PRODUCT TO THE DEALER OF PURCHASE. SEE THE DEALER’S RETURN POLICY FOR DETAILS AND/OR ADDITIONAL RETURN REQUIREMENTS.

ONE PIECE STICKS (PLAYER AND COMPOSITE GOALIE), SHAFTS/REPLACEMENT BLADES

TRUE Sports will provide a one-time repair or replacement within 30 days from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) for one piece stick, composite shaft, or replacement blade breakage that occurs during normal playing conditions provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The product was purchased from an authorized TRUE Sports Dealer.
  2. The original purchaser retains a proof of purchase (receipt) from the original transaction.
  3. The warranty claim is made within the applicable warranty period.
  4. The product was not gratuitously abused, altered, defaced, or otherwise negligently damaged, including prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
  5. The return was handled properly per the TRUE Sports return process as outlined below:

*One Piece Stick, Shaft, Composite blade Limited Warranty Exclusions:

  • Cosmetic issues such as chips, dings, scratches, grip wear are not covered by the limited warranty policy.
  • Promotional or demo products (ex. free product / camp giveaway / demos, etc.)
  • Used / pre-owned products
  • Products marked and/or sold as PRO Stock
Hockey Protective, Bags, Apparel Limited Warranty

TRUE Sports will provide a one-time repair or replacement within 90 days from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) for hockey gloves, protective equipment (shoulder pad, elbow pads, etc.), bags, and apparel against non-conformance from TRUE workmanship specifications that occurs during normal use, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The product was purchased from an authorized TRUE Sports Dealer.
  2. The original purchaser retains a proof of purchase (receipt) from the original transaction.
  3. The warranty claim is made within the applicable warranty period.
  4. The product was not gratuitously abused (ex. ripped, cut, torn), misused, damaged by neglect, including prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
  5. The product was not modified or altered, including any repair done outside of TRUE customer service.
  6. Any stated care instructions listed on the product or packaging were followed
  7. The return was handled properly per the TRUE Sports return process as outlined below:

*Gloves, Protective, Bags, Apparel Limited Warranty Exclusions:

  • Promotional or demo products (ex. free product / camp giveaway, demos, etc.)
  • Used / pre-owned products
Hockey Helmet Limited Warranty

TRUE Sports will provide a one-time repair or replacement within 12 months from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) for hockey helmets against non-conformance from TRUE workmanship specifications that occurs during normal use, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The product was purchased from an authorized TRUE Sports Dealer.
  2. The original purchaser retains a proof of purchase (receipt) from the original transaction.
  3. The warranty claim is made within the applicable warranty period.
  4. The product was not gratuitously abused (ex. ripped, cut, torn), misused, damaged by neglect, including prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
  5. The product was not modified or altered, including any repair done outside of TRUE customer service.
  6. Any stated care instructions listed on the product or packaging were followed
  7. The return was handled properly per the TRUE Sports return process as outlined below:

TRUE PRO CUSTOM SKATES

Custom Skate Guarantee:
Due to the 100% custom nature of our Pro Custom skate, scanned for your individual foot and proudly handcrafted in Canada, TRUE hockey does not offer a money back guarantee. If the customer is not satisfied with the first pair, we will attempt to adjust the skates using a series of fitting techniques. Should the customer remain unsatisfied and both parties have determined that all means have been taken to adjust the custom fit, TRUE hockey will make a second pair at no charge to the customer. The customer in this case will be responsible for shipping the skates back to TRUE hockey and all related charges will be the responsibility of the customer. TRUE hockey will cover all costs associated with building the new pair and shipping them back to the customer.

6 month manufacturer’s warranty:
If within the first 6 months of use your boots sustain any breakdown or damage not caused by regular game use, TRUE Hockey will fix the damage. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.

1 year manufacturer’s warranty on blades & holders:
If within the first 12 months of use your TRUE holder or steel blade sustain breakage not caused by regular game use, TRUE Hockey will replace them at no charge. The customer is responsible for return shipping charges.

Outside warranty repairs:
At TRUE Hockey we stand behind our product and therefore we will fix any issue that arises with your boots outside of the warranty period. The customer will be responsible for the return shipping in both directions plus a fee for the repair. Please contact the TRUE hockey service team by email at skatesales@true-sports.com prior to shipping for a repair quote.
Any skates/boots that are shipped to TRUE Hockey need to be clearly marked “WARRANTY REPAIR” on the shipping package or Customs Clearing charges may apply.  Any Customs Clearing charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

TRUE Hockey Stock Skate Warranty

TRUE Sports will provide a one-time repair or replacement within 90 days from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) for stock skate boot damage that occurs during normal playing conditions.
TRUE Sports will provide a one-time repair or replacement within 12 months from the original date of purchase (“Warranty Period”) for stock skate holder, runner, chassis damage that occurs during normal playing conditions.

These warranties will be honored provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The product was purchased from an authorized TRUE Sports Dealer.
  2. The original purchaser retains a proof of purchase (receipt) from the original transaction.
  3. The warranty claim is made within the applicable warranty period.
  4. The product was not gratuitously abused (ex. ripped, cut, torn), misused, damaged by neglect, including prolonged exposure to inclement weather.
  5. The product was not modified or altered, including any repair done outside of TRUE customer service.
  6. Any stated care instructions listed on the product or packaging were followed
  7. The return was handled properly per the TRUE Sports return process as outlined below:

Team Sales & Competitive Players

Bulk discounted purchases under the Team Sales program and sales to senior competitive, professional or semi professional, Junior and College/University levels are not covered under our 30 day one time replacement program but may be covered under some circumstances such as confirmed manufacturing defects.
To enquire about the possibility of replacing a broken product under these circumstances, contact True Temper Sports DIRECTLY by sending an email to the following email address: teamwarranty@true-sports.com for a return authorization (RA) form and number and reason/circumstance of return.
Your RA number must accompany all returns.

To make a warranty claim, you must contact TRUE Sports directly, do not contact your TRUE Sports retailer.

Please follow the steps to make a warranty claim:

  1. Scroll down and fill out the limited warranty form.
  2. TRUE Sports will inspect images of the damaged product to determine if the damage was caused by normal use or if there is evidence of misuse, tampering, abuse, or deception. DO NOT physically ship any damaged product to TRUE Sports unless you have been asked to do so.
  3. If your claim meets our policy requirements, TRUE Sports will send you a return authorization number (RA) within 5 business days along with instructions on what to do with the damaged product.
  4. If TRUE Sports determines that your product is covered by the warranty, then TRUE will at its sole option and in its sole discretion (1) replace your product with the same model or (2) replace your product with a comparable model should your product be discontinued or otherwise unavailable, or (3) repair your product, or (4) provide you with a voucher to be used toward the purchase of other TRUE Hockey products.

TRUE Sports will pay normal ground freight charges to send back the replacement products.

Note – TRUE Sports reserves the right to refuse warranty service to any person who, in TRUE’s sole discretion, abuses its products or warranty policy.
