In 2020, Eastwood was recognized with the Doris R. Soladay Award, the most prestigious award for student-athletes at Syracuse University for her positive community involvement and exceptional athletic and academic achievements. Eastwood was a 3-time captain at Syracuse, and in her 139-game collegiate career from 2016 – 2020, she was 23-52-75. With 23 goals, she is now the school’s all-time leading goal scorer among defenders. Eastwood led the team to their first CHA Tournament title, earning her spot on the All-Tournament team. In 2015, Eastwood represented team Canada at the U-18 World Championships. Eastwood’s outstanding leadership, passion on and off the ice, and strong defender skills with the ability to score, makes her a fierce competitor, and aided in the Toronto Six’s success in their NHWL inaugural season.
